I trained to become an aerobics, Pilates and fitness instructor during college. And I absolutely loved the energy and atmosphere at the health club. It wasn’t long before I was instructing up to 14 classes per week and experienced the extremes of being a fit-girl, suffered injuries and depression that eventually led to burnout.
Hitting that wall had me dive deeper into mindfulness, yoga and meditation. Which lead me to balance. Body awareness was the framework that actually helped me fully grasp the extent to which I could stretch my body, mind and soul without overdoing it.
